Review procedure
1. Any publication in the journal “The Lord’s Field. Bulletin of Penza Theological Seminary” is liable to obligatory reviewing. Up to 2 reviewers are appointed by the editorial board of the journal series to review a particular article. All the reviewers are qualified specialists on the subject of peer-reviewed materials and have publications on the subject of peer-reviewed articles within the previous 3 years.
2. The period of reviewing manuscripts of articles should not exceed two weeks from the date of submission of the materials to the reviewers.
3. For reviewing articles submitted for publication in the journal, the procedures of “blind” and anonymous reviewing (the reviewer does not know the author of the article, the author of the article does not know his/her reviewer) are used.
4. Each manuscript is recommended for publication in case a positive review is received.
5. Reviews are provided as a document (original or its electronic copy in .pdf format), signed by the reviewer.
6. The review is written in any form, the obligatory conclusion is: “the article can (or after revision in accordance with the comments) / cannot be recommended for publication in the journal “The Lord’s Field. Bulletin of Penza Theological Seminary”.
7. The original reviews (or their electronic copies in pdf format) will be kept in the Journal’s editorial office for a period of 5 years.
8. Copies of the reviews are sent to the authors.
9. The editors undertake to send copies of reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request by the editors
10. The following conditions may serve as grounds for a reasoned refusal to publish the article:
- non-compliance of the submitted material with the subject matter of the Journal;
- non-compliance of the material design with the editorial requirements;
- negative review(s) of the manuscript submitted;
- the author’s / authors’ failure to observe the copyright and related rights legislation of the Russian Federation;
- the fact that thematerials have been previously published in other sources.
